Refund Policy

1. Free Plan

Choploop offers a Free plan with no credit card required. You can use the Free plan indefinitely without any charge. No refund is applicable as no payment is taken.

2. Paid Subscriptions

Paid plans (Pro and Business) are billed monthly on a recurring basis. Your subscription automatically renews each month until you cancel.

You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel your subscription at any time from the Billing section of your dashboard. Downgrades and cancellations take effect at the end of your current billing period — you retain access to paid features until then.

3. No Mid-Period Refunds

We do not provide refunds or credits for partial months of service. If you cancel your subscription mid-month, you will retain access to paid features until the end of your current billing period, after which your account reverts to the Free plan.

This policy applies to all plan changes, including downgrades.

4. Exceptions

We will issue a full refund in the following circumstances:

  • You were charged in error due to a billing system error on our part
  • You were charged after successfully cancelling your subscription
  • You were charged twice for the same billing period

5. Referral Credits

Free months earned through the referral program are credits applied to your account and are not redeemable for cash. They are applied automatically when you are on a paid plan and cannot be transferred.

6. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund under the exception circumstances above, email us at billing@choploop.app with your account email, the date and amount of the charge, and a brief description of the issue.

We aim to respond within 2 business days. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method within 5–10 business days depending on your bank.
